- The
following information is taken mainly from Books, Health magazines,
Internet
and Newspaper articles.
- It is not always verified information but a
base, a beginning, for your own studies. Nowadays one has to make one's
own studies. We seldom get this kind of information from authorities
any longer.
- It is up to each and everyone to make up their
own mind if they want to believe it or not.
- This is what I believe, but I can mistakes, big or small
- I am not a doctor and the
advice
below does not replace professional medical treatment in any way.
- Anybody
who has a serious disease ought to start to study about his/her disease
especially alternative methods. The alternative methods aim to make the
body heal itself with God's help.
- Not just take away the symptoms
only,
like very often with Allopathic medicine.
- But always discuss treatments
with
a real doctor, natural or allopathic, preferably both kinds of doctors.
- All
cures work best with a healthy lifestyle in
general eating much raw fresh organic vegetables and some fruits,
enough exercise, detoxification when needed, enough rest, fresh air,
avoid toxins in food, drinks and environment and minimize stress.

| Obesity in General |
Many
believe that eating too much
or eating fat is the main reason for being obese or overweight.
However there are typically a few things that make people obese or
overweight in modern
life without much connection to how much we eat:
We eat too little of the good fats, not too much
If we don't
have enough of minerals and other nutrients like good fats in our
food the body always cries for more, more and more. We are
hungry all
the time or we have cravings .e.g. for something sweet like candy
or chocolate. Many of these "foods" have MSG
or even GMO components which can start obesity
or make it worse.
- Lack of minerals and other nutrients in almost
all processed food e.g. refined foods
- Toxins that block uptake of minerals like in
GMO food and unfermented Soy Products
- Roller coaster glucose levels when we eat too much carbohydrates
- Other effects of toxins like bloating
The classic reasons eating too much of
everything and/or eating too much fat probably matters less. When we
eat more quality food we don't easily get obese even when we eat much
of it. Not that we should eat much of any food including quality food,
but it matters less for obesity how much we eat of the quality food. When
we have enough of minerals and other nutrients we quite simply don't
get as hungry. We lose our cravings for extra snacks etc.
Calories counting almost totally unnecessary. It is far more important
to restrict carbohydrates (sugar, fructose and grains) and to give your
body enough healthy fat consumption. Read

July 2011: Food addictions can be as strong as drug addictions. Read
more...
MSG
was originally created to fatten
pigs. MSG has around 40 up to 50 names
to avoid detection if people really finally succeed in reading the
small text on food labels. One of the legal names is "No MSG" if MSG
is 99.99% or less clean. And MSG that is not 100% clean is according
to food laws in USA not clean enough to be named "MSG" and so on. We
live in an era of deceit and you as a consumer must try to understand
this if you want to continue to eat industrially processed food. Read
the MSG fact sheet to learn about more names
like "Hydrolyzed" etc.
Food laws in USA are quite simply copied by other non-suspecting
countries to a large extent, which is proven by that MSG in
concentrations that is more than in natural original food like tomatoes
is not forbidden in any country as far as I know. If we avoid so called
junk food we often get rid of all MSG. MSG puts off the "I have eaten enough" switch in our brains.
Polysorbate
80 (often found in dairy products like ice cream) (It also can give
breathing problems etc. apart from contributing to obesity)
Soy Bean products if
unfermented since they block uptake of minerals
GMO products block uptake of
minerals, which can mean that the body never gets enough and we get hungry.
Vaccinations (Since they contain so many toxins)
Lots of other environmental toxins that we don't alway really try to
avoid because of ignorance, fear or laziness also block uptake of
minerals. We must give the body a chance to automatically detox by
avoiding as much as possible of these known and unknown toxins. We
avoid it by eating a larger share of organic foods, more absolutely clean water etc.
Too
little Vanadium in organic form (fish is rich in Vanadium). Too
little Chromium in organic form. As an example organic chromium is
needed
for normalizing glucose levels in the blood automatically. Without
organic Chromium the body does not know how to regulate the blood
sugar. Some of the herbs in the supplement aDebtin form Alterni.com have these properties
High
glycemic foods,
including all refined carbohydrates, sugars, fructose products, baked
goods, candies and sugary beverages. Especially avoid Fructose products
and in particular HFCS.
One more message about sugar. Read
more...
Too
much carbohydrates raises the blood glucose levels very fast and
insulin is released to convert the carbohydrates to fat in the body.
When the glucose levels sink too fast because of much insulin the
muscles and brain suddenly don't have enough glucose and we get hungry
within an
hour or two. If we then quickly eat more carbohydrates like more bread,
rice, potatoes,
candy, chocolate etc. we replenish the glucose levels in the blood very
fast and immediately insulin is released quickly in large amounts again
etc. One cup of rice equals 12 spoons of sugar.
Our energy levels go roller coaster. Instead we should eat more of also
fat, protein and vegetables and
fruits together with the carbohydrates to moderate the glucose levels.
Too keep the glucose levels more even. Only 7% of the fat we eat is
turned into energy or glucose for
the body. But almost all carbohydrates. If we have a more balanced meal
with less share of carbohydrates the glucose levels keep within a Zone
(compare
Zone diet and Atkins diet) and insulin is not needed in excess to break
down the glucose since low levels of glucose are not threatening to the
body. It takes much longer before we get hungry again
provided the meal has enough of vital nutrients like minerals. This
should also teach Muslims to eat a wholesome meal as Sahur (early
morning
meal) before fasting so that our energy levels are largely the same
during the day. Not just bread. Not just almost only rice etc. Towards
the later part of the day stored fat will be
used to maintain energy levels. It is partly turned into glucose again
for brain, muscles and hormone and keeps the mood more positive and
stable.
Refined food
like white flour, white rice, white sugar, white milk,
white salt, cooking oil etc. is robbed of minerals and other nutrients.
These will then be robbed from the body instead when we break down the
food to assimilate it. From a body that already from the beginning is
low on these minerals and nutrients when we eat too much of modern
processed not enough raw food. The soil in agricultural fields have
been robbed by most minerals after decades and decades of fertilized
pesticidal farming.
When the body does not get enough of minerals and other nutrients from
modern food or when the food is only cooked and fried and seldom raw
unprocessed we never really stop being hungry. The body has not got
enough. The body cries for more minerals and other nutrients. Only when
we eat food rich in minerals and other good
nutrients, enzymes, good fats etc. we don't get too hungry almost all
the time. One way is
to combine our less perfect diets with superfoods
like raw unadulterated unpasteurized honey. Another
way is to always eat a large part of our meals in the form of organic
vegetables and fruits. Especially organic vegetables. Fruits have more
carbohydrates and can be good for energy, e.g. for sports activities
and exercise. Raw preferably raw organic Vegetables should always form
the largest part of our meals if we want to eat perfectly. We then
automatically reach normal weight, insyAllah (=God willing). People who
go on perfect diets like the Gerson Therapy get as a welcome side
effect normal body weights and in the long run also stronger
muscles. We can eat meat of the very best organic kind from animals
grazing grass in the sun etc. but we cannot take meat too much and too
often. We don't need to be afraid of the fat in lamb meat if the lamb
was grazing on such healthy fields with access to sunlight.
So imagine those who want to reduce weight with diet
drinks, not
avoiding MSG products, Soy,
GMO, Vaccinations,
seldom eat fish, low fat
but not carbohydrate low, refined flour, refined everything, almost
only cooked and
fried and minimum exercise and hardly no raw fresh organic
vegetables
at all.
People are cheated into more obesity through so called health products
like soy and diet
drinks. People are cheated into not being able to
identify MSG
with 40 to 50 different names. People are not expected
to think too deep. If people think deep they
are no longer behaving like good sheep that mostly sleepwalk through
their diet choices even though they believe they are active. Their
choices are based upon that we live in an honest society. Yes perhaps
if you live in an Amish or true Muslim society. But ordinary modernized
secular societies? no way! See also about Booby Traps in Health Food

What to do:
So much to read.
Is
there not one single advice that can help us against being or becoming too
fat instead of having to read all these lists?
- If you are lazy:Start taking aDebtin from Alterni.com
together with every big meal like lunch and dinner. But don't forget
and measure personal results with your glucose meter. aDebtin contains
herbs that support and repair your organs that control blood sugar.
- If you are desperate for result with almost 100% guarantee: Follow Gerson's
diet 100%, with no compromises, if you can. They have a daycare
center in
Singapore if you live near them. Contact them, don't wait. But commit
yourself. You might lose a few kilograms every day or more after around
a week if not sooner. Mostly through the bowels, not so much through
the skin.
- If you are something in between, not
lazy not desperate: Sorry you have
to choose what you can, what is easy, what you like from the lists. If
you instead choose operation you might regret later on but not be able
to reverse the operation. There are a lot of operated persons who
regret
what they did. If you still want, make Istikhara with lots of
expert advice and advice from people who have done the operation
before and after the Istikhara prayer.
- If you choose fast solutions
you might risk liver damaging medications and you quite simply ruin your
health. If you choose diet fads the risk is big you will give up sooner or later. Gerson is not a fad diet. It is a life style.
- If you like Gerson but think it is too much,
become a vegetarian for a while. Half a year or so. Chose only organic
vegetables for going down in weight and some organic fruits for energy.
Other advice in no particular order:
Betulin from Birch Bark, Breastfeeding, Coconut
Oil, Fennel, Grapefruit, Eggs, Apples, Lauric Acid, Organic almonds, Sulfur
Phenylalanine (Essential Amino Acid) reduces hunger
Raw unprocessed unpasteurized Honey
Phenylalanine (Essential Amino Acid) reduces Hunger
Violet, Vitamin D (not synthetic, but from sunshine and/or exquisite organic food
Sunshine
during the most light hours of the day without sun blocking cream in
combination with sulfur rich foods generates Vitamin D3 which
automatically helps against a large list of diseases and obesity. See Vitamin D fact sheet.
A good healthy diet with enough minerals, enzymes, phytonutrients,
enough of fats and vitamins in combination with sunshine and some
exercise helps also against skin cancer if you are afraid of skin
cancer. Get a sunlamp or visit tanning saloons if you are a Muslim woman and cannot go
uncovered in sunlight.
One of the side effects of the Gerson
Therapy is
to reach a normal body weight. Another side effect is to lose all
cravings for sweet things, junk food etc. and other addictions like
smoking or even drug abuse as well,
since The organic Gerson Food
contains everything the body needs and
more and therefore the body stops craving for alls kinds of things.
Atkins diet
avoids carbohydrates to a very large extent. However be
sure to eat enough raw fresh organic vegetables and fruits which is not
stressed in dr. Atkins earliest books.
The Muslims "Sunnah" way of
eating is to take maximum
- 1/3 Food
- 1/3 Drink
- 1/3 Air
(= Nothing) so that you still can breathe easily.
The Muslims Sunnah is also to eat halal and toyyib. "Toyyib" means pure, clean, of good
quality. What else is there of good quality that is not organic
apart from natural food truly direct from nature? Everything was
organic up until around a hundred years ago when the first fertilizers
and pesticides where thrown on agricultural land scaring away or
killing earthworms and useful insects for pollinating etc.
Fasting is also a way of training not to eat at all during the light
hours of the day. Fasting
in combination with quality food generates good positive hormones and
makes us awkwardly enough less hungry and more energetic and with
better mood especially when it is combined with moderate exercise.
Hunger
and fasting boosts growth hormones. Without them we risk becoming
fat and have less lean muscles etc.
Everything in the Diabetes fact sheet that
normalizes blood sugar levels is positive also against obesity. E.g. aDebtin from Alterni.com can be
used by people who want to go down in weight without having a perfect
diet.
Anybody can take an aDebtin pill before or after a good wedding dinner
etc. with all it's temptations without going up in weight, God willing.
Eat only unrefined food
like brown rice, molasses, brown cane sugar,
raw organic milk from grass fed cows, sea salt, Unrefined carotene rich
palm oil without the poisonous
canola additive etc., Truly wholemeal flour-products etc. when
you can get hold of it.
A-Debtin from Alterni.com
which
has around 7 herbs to quickly normalize sugar levels and in the long
run helps to rebuild the organs that regulates blood sugar levels like
the liver and pancreas. But if you take aDebtin or any other diabetes
drug you must check your personal blood sugar levels as quickly as
possible and after a few hours preferably with your own easily
accessible glucose meter. Reactions are very individual. After a few
weeks you know more about your personal reactions.
When we eat healthily we automatically start to detox. The body
is wonderful and can then repair itself when we give it a chance,
InsyAllah (= God willing). Absence or lower levels of toxins in
combination with minerals and other nutrients like enzymes and vitamins
gives the body a chance to repair itself.
The Juice Lady (at Mercola.com) helps you shed overweight with simple
to do tasty high quality daily
smoothies. Also list of vegetables of fruits with
most and least of pesticides. What you must buy organic and what you
can buy of normal produce if you cannot afford organic. Read

If you are sitting
a lot move around more and read advice from an article by dr.
Mercola about "Egoscue" exercises on the floor etc.
Whey
Protein if whole and non-denaturated taken before exercise and/or
before meals boosts certain satiety hormones to increase energy levels
even after eating.
The Video "What if it is a Big Fat Lie" part 5 of an interview
with Gary Taubes at Mercola.com
explains a lot about how good a high fat diet is compared to low fat,
high carbohydrate diet.

to restrict carbohydrates (sugar, fructose and grains) and to give your
body enough healthy fat consumption. Read

Here is another message with advice from mercola.com Read
more...
- Limit your fructose to less than 25 grams per
day. Ideally, you'll also want to limit the amount of fructose from
fruit to 15 grams per day, as you're likely consuming 'hidden' fructose
if you eat even small amounts of processed foods or sweetened
beverages. See
list in the message about different sources of fructose
- Limit or eliminate all processed foods
- Eliminate all gluten, and highly allergenic
foods from your diet
- Eat organic foods whenever possible, preferably
locally-grown
- Eat at least one-third of your food uncooked
(raw), or as much as you can manage
- Increase the amount of fresh vegetables in your
diet
- Avoid artificial sweeteners of all kinds
- Swap all trans fats (vegetable oils, margarine
etc.) for healthful fats like raw grass-fed organic butter or coconut
oil
- To re-balance your omega-3 to omega-6 ratio,
take a high-quality omega-3 supplement, such as krill oil, and reduce
your consumption of processed omega-6 fats from vegetable oils (trans
fats)
- Drink plenty of pure water
- Optimize your vitamin D levels, either through
appropriate sun exposure, a safe tanning bed, or a vitamin D3 supplement
- Limit carbs, not vegetables
- Eat plenty of fiber but not in the form of
grains, but vegetables, fruits and beans.
- Build muscle! Burns more energy, regulates
glucose levels, lipid metabolism and insulin sensitivity
- Interval training, 20 minutes 2 to 3 times a
week is enough. See
Peak 8 exercises at mercola.com which also describes how to trim
different muscle areas like ribs, abs etc.
