The body's reactions can be very individual. Only Allah (= Our one single God and Creator) knows exactly what all the different nutrients are in plants etc. and what final effect they and different toxins have. It could be a good idea to make an honest attempt to minimize toxins or even begin a detox so that good nutrients can have a better effect. Vitamins, Enzymes and Minerals work together, never alone. There is supposed to be cases where patients regain eye sight once they stop Aspartame which contains Methanol. Since Aspartame is a food additive which all around the world is hidden behind beautiful descriptions like "Lawful and Approved Sweetener" or just "Lawful and Approved" but without the name of the ingredient, it could be a good idea to take a no Aspartame test for a couple of months.

Modern foods including organic processed food can nowadays also contain "Neotame" which is almost the same as Aspartame but worse than Aspartame according to an article in Farmwars.info

Children are increasingly unfortunately fed Infant Formula (The regular processed type sold in supermarkets based on the mineral blocking non-GMO Soy or the even worse GMO-Soy and using during manufacturing a process involving the carcinogen "Hexane". Modern Infant Formula can be as far as I understand a hideous food even if it nowadays does not contain Melamine any longer). What to do: Give your children  Breastfeeding instead or Raw unadulterated not pasteurized milk from Cows grazing grass in sunshine fields without pesticides instead.

SPECIFIC FOR EYES:
It seems that Aspartameis extremely dangerous for the eyesight. 

The Hunza population in the Himalayas have perfect eyesight until they die. They have the longest life span on earth. 

Lutein, Astaxhantin, Zeaxanthine, DHA, (Vitamin A) and Vitamin C are among the most important when it comes to Eye-sight. 

I have put vitamin A within brackets at some places since a dr Mendelsson an expert on allopathic and alternative medicine says there is no proof that Vitamin A should be good for eye sight. 

I have seen in alternative medicine that DHA from Omega 3 in fish oil should be the major benefactor of eyesight as well as the brain and central nervous system. 

Aspartame is the technical name for the brand names: NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful and Equal-Measure. It can be found as food additive in instant breakfasts, breath mints, cereals, sugar-free chewing gum, cocoa mixes, coffee beverages, frozen desserts, ice cream, gelatin desserts, juice beverages, laxatives, multivitamins, milk drinks, pharmaceuticals including vaccinations and supplements, shake mixes, soft drinks like diet-Coke, diet-Pepsi, Crystal Light and Kool Aid, tabletop sweeteners, tea beverages, instant teas and coffees, topping mixes, wine coolers and yogurt. Aspartame and other sweeteners can now be added to Regular and Diet Drinks everywhere, at least in USA, but other countries often follow with the same laws. Added without mentioning on labels. Sometimes laws are ignored. Aspartame is cheaper than Sugar. Since Aspartame contains methanol it is no wonder it is bad for eyesight. The Aspartame formula splits up in its ingredients at body temperature, 37 degrees Celsius or higher. If you don't want to believe it is your own choice. There are plenty of alternatives on the market even for diabetics, (Stevia etc.) and you can always do the 60 days no Aspartame test. 

If you suspect that some of the symptoms of your eye-problems could be because of Aspartame make the 60 day no Aspartame test. Avoid everything that could possibly contain Aspartame. After 60 days you should know. Sometimes already after a few days avoiding anything that could contain Aspartame can give dramatic effects. It does not cost much to try. And it is not dangerous to try to abstain from it. 

Processed food and sweets etc. that states that the food is Halal (permitted in Islam) at the same time as states that it contains "permitted food additives", flavors and what nots is to be suspected until you have contacted the manufacturer to make certain your suspicion is baseless. In the meantime, just avoid it. Try an apple, (preferably organic), instead if you want something sweet. 

The Hunza population has nothing but perfect eye-sight also up in ages over a hundred and more, all of them. Their average lifespan is 120-140 years. Modern Western educated Eye-doctors have examined them for decades. Their Vitamin A intake is way over recommended dosages. It does not cost much to try large dosages of Betacarotine which is a prestage to Vitamin A. Even those who state that Vitamin A has dangerous side effects verify that Beta carotene does not have these side effects. The liver makes its own Vitamin A from Beta carotene. And it is cheap.  And it is not dangerous try. The Hunza population also avoids all pesticides and eats all kinds of healthy food, but never in excess. Their healthy water is a kind of mineral rich glacier water. 

The book How to Live Longer And Feel Better,by Linus Pauling describes how Vitamin C can reduce or stop Cataracts and Glaucoma. A remedy often not known by many doctors. Perhaps because Linus Pauling and mega dosages has been ridiculed by modern Medicine industry. Modern Medicine Industry  is not interested in cheap vitamins that cannot be patented. Linus Pauling gives enough scientific proof for his claims. And it is cheap. And it is not dangerous to try.

The eye-retina has the highest concentration of DHA in the body. The photo receptors receive light stimulation and DHA is absolutely necessary for proper vision. DHA is also very important for the brain (25% DHA) and the nervous system. We need DHA from the diet. The growth of the retina and visual cortex of the phoetus and the first 6 months of the child depends on DHA.

What to do:
  • If you can afford it:
    • Contact a dentist who really knows how to take out the fillings without ruining his and your health. It is not enough that the dentist says he knows how to do it. You yourself have to check him/her out.

Common tea is typically 1 to 6 ppm and especially green tea.- But tea can contain even more-. One single cup of tea can contain more Fluoride than is actually given as medication against hyperthyroidism. De-caffeinated tea can contain more Fluoride than common tea when Fluoridated water is used in the de-decaffeinating process. Tea also contains Aluminum which can raise especially the neurological and renal toxic effects of Fluoride. Microwave popcorn bags. Packaging for greasy foods. Stain-proof clothing. Carpet and fabric protectors. Flame retardants. Stain-resistant carpeting. Some household cleaning products. PFC, PFOA. Food wrappers for junk food, Popcorn bags for micro wave oven.

It is however not at all sure that these articles about green tea are completely true. If the Aluminum is in an organic form it is completely harmless. Aluminum and heavy metals are harmful only in it's metallic form. Organic Aluminum as well as all other organic minerals never accumulate in the body cells. If the Fluoride in tea in its organic Fluorine form it is most probably also harmless. But if it is in the same form as the pesticides etc. are spread it is most probably very harmful. Better to stay away if we don't know.

Teflon and Tefal coated frying pans, sandwich makers etc. where the surface is scraped etc. Part of the controversial psycho active psychiatric drugs PROZAC, Paxil, Luvox, Rohypnol.-Wine can contain up to 3 ppm. Some Car wax. Some Spray can oil. Nerve Gas. Some medicines against hypothyroidism.

The brand "Nursery Water for babies". It is especially dangerous for babies to ingest Fluoride in any form.

What to do:

In USA if a food has a food additive containing less than 99% MSG the label does not need to reveal that it contains MSG. According to one list 30 different food sorts can often, but not always contain MSG without any specification on the food label. MSG is used as a flavor enhancer in foods prepared at home, in restaurants and by food processors. It is often much cheaper to add MSG than to use enough of fresh high quality real ingredients. 

Many names of ingredients can sometimes but not always be used to hide MSG: Glutamate, Textured protein, Hydrolyzed protein, Mono potassium glutamate, Glutamic acid, Sodium caseinate, Gelatin, Yeast extract, Yeast food, Autolyzed yeast, Yeast nutrient, Malt-extract, Malt flavoring, Barley malt, Stock, Broth, Carageenan, Maltodextrin, Whey protein, Whey protein isolate, Whey protein concentrate, Pectin, Protease enzymes, Enzymes, Protease, Flavor(s), Flavoring(s), Natural pork flavoring, Natural beef flavoring, Natural chicken flavoring, Seasonings, Soy sauce, Soy sauce extract, Soy protein isolate, Soy protein concentrate, Anything protein fortified, Anything Enzyme modified, Anything Ultra-pasteurized, Anything fermented. MSG can exist in soaps, shampoos, hair conditioners and cosmetics where MSG is hidden in "amino acids". Auxigro WP Plant Metabolic Primer (Auxigro) contains around 30% MSG and is meant to be sprayed on beans, lettuce, peanuts, tomatoes and potatoes. (As if pesticides were not enough). 

Drinks, Candy and Chewing gum. Some Baby Food,  Tobacco, Iced tea, Red Star Yeast, Chicken Pox Vaccinations, Binders and Fillers for medications, Nutrients, Supplements, Enteral feeding materials and some Fluids administered intravenously in hospitals may contain MSG according to the same list.  Hospital food can sometimes contain MSG.   • Since labels don't always reveal contents of MSG. It has typically around 40 to 50 names to avoid detection learn the most common names like "No MSG", "Flavoring", "Hydrolized this and that" or "permitted" additive etc.
  • Even if you don't have any of the very many symptoms for MSG, avoid it or at least minimize it. You might not get hurt or notice anything while you are young, but developing visible or detectable symptoms like migraine can take time.
  • To practice the Gerson Therapy or if you at least become a Vegan means that you automatically avoid MSG and most other poisons.
